WebsiteSafetyCheck.com is a web-based tool to check any site's safety reputation. Our site is free to use and we only present our own opinion without insisting or pretending it's a final and only truth.
A little about our project:
We use data from a number of respected and regularly-updated sources for malware, phishing, privacy, content, and other reports. We also perform our own tests on each site to identify further privacy issues and exploits such as hidden elements or web bugs. We aggregate all of this information to provide a reasonably accurate detailed safety profile for websites.
Sometimes you don't see a WebsiteSafetyCheck.com Seal offered for your site even when it has 100% safety score. This is because the system is assessing the result based on an internal confidence level. It means that a 84% result that just comes from 2 reports has lower confidence than a 72% result coming from 6 reports. The Seal is offered only when both overall and confidence scores are above certain levels. These levels are confidential and for internal use only.
Our site presents our own opinion which we are entitled to. However, we are friends and are being helpful to website owners, so if you want your site to be removed from our index - simply let us know and we will remove it so it will not show up in the results if someone searches for it in future. We cannot remove it from external sites that show our content, including Google's cache, but you can request the URL removal from them directly.
